Adam gets upset when Xue Ling suggests Michael to take the SAT for a shot at a good college in US. He thinks that she is up to her controlling ways again and a quarrel ensures. Michael's attempt to mediate and stop the argument makes it worse when he blurts out about Xue Ling's past secret.
