In September 2020, Erik Fasth is found lifeless in a pool of blood outside the room of the disabled woman he is an assistant to. The police immediately begin to investigate why he was subjected to this heinous crime.

The couple Suzanne and Lars live a quiet life in the countryside outside Stockholm. But when Suzanne cancels an important tennis match at short notice, her tennis partner becomes suspicious and calls the police.

18-year-old Ndella Jack has just returned home from her honeymoon with her husband. What was supposed to be the beginning of their life together comes to an abrupt end instead, when they are subjected to a brutal attack.

In the summer night in Värmland, a fight degenerates and 21-year-old Harout is fatally stabbed. The police are now beginning to suspect that a drama of jealousy may be the key to finding the culprit.

The psychologist Helena Bering disappears without a trace in the middle of the day on August 18, 2004. She has just finished a meeting with a client at the reception in central Stockholm when suddenly all traces of her cease.

In May 2017, Filip Viking, the father of a small child, was found shot in Katrineholm. The witnesses rush forward and in connection with the attempts to save Filip's life, they manage to see a tall man dressed in black running from the scene.
