Susan Calman's Cruise of a Lifetime - Season 3

Season 3

Episodes

Mexico & USA
The comedian takes a cruise to Mexico via the US, starting with a whistlestop tour of old Hollywood before boarding her ship in Long Beach, California. When the ship pulls into Ensenada in Mexico, Susan takes an excursion to see La Bufadora, a blowhole on the coast that sprays water up to 100 metres into the air.

Tahiti and French Polynesia: Part 1
The comedian explores the sun-drenched tropical islands of French Polynesia in the South Pacific. She boards a sleek sailing ship complete with five enormous sails - her new home for the next 10 days. Susan goes snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters of Fakarava, and visits Rangiroa - the largest atoll in the region.

Tahiti and French Polynesia: Part 2
Susan finds out about the traditional outrigger boat, pays a visit to the famous Bloody Mary bar, and sails into the breath-taking lagoon surrounding the island of Mo'orea.

The Douro: Part One
Susan travels through the Douro valley, starting in Porto, where she takes the city's cable car and visits Europe's biggest lock. She also visits Salamanca, to enjoy tapas and flamenco.

The Douro: Part Two
It's the second leg of the comedian's river cruise through Portugal's stunning Douro valley. Susan and a gang of new friends from the ship head out on a vineyard tour to the Quinta Sao Luiz - one of the oldest port houses in the country. There she sees a traditional - and surprising - way to crack open a bottle. After a quick tasting, she's off for a relaxing spa treatment in Lamego - and discovers that, in this part of the world, they even bath in the grapes.

Antarctica: Part One
In the first of a two-part trip, the comedian samples life in Buenos Aires, Argentina before embarking on an epic cruise to Antarctica, where she explores everything the region has to offer. Her state-of-the-art cruise ship is small enough to get close to nature without disturbing the wildlife, and there is plenty to see including whales, dolphins, seals, albatross, and 18 species of penguin.

Antarctica: Part Two
The comedian concludes her epic trek to Antarctica, and the ship's onboard submersible gives Susan the chance to take in a very different view of the region. She is also given the chance to celebrate with the famous Antarctic Plunge, where guests jump off the back of the ship into the freezing waters for the ultimate wild swimming experience.
