A multi-day stretch of violent weather is moving across the U.S. with more than a dozen reports of tornadoes in Texas and Oklahoma. This comes as meteorologists sound the alarm over how federal staffing cuts by the Trump administration are impacting their forecasts. NBC's Maggie Vespa reports for Sunday TODAY. Russia and Ukraine are trading new accusations of attacks just hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin had promised a temporary Easter truce. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that Russian strikes continued into the night, specifically near the border between the two countries. Florida State University students were asked to return to class on Monday just days after a gunman killed two people and injured six others. But after many students complained that it was too soon to restart classes, campus officials announced Saturday that it won't penalize anyone who is not yet ready to return. For centuries, royal reserve has been a part of British nobility's everyday life with a rigid approach and stiff formality in public. But now, after first being challenged by Princess Diana, the royals are being seen in a different light with Princess Kate offering a rare glimpse into her personal life by opening up about the impact of her cancer treatment on her young family.
