Meanwhile, Birmingham childhood sweethearts Kevin and Liz are hoping to relocate to the Costa Blanca after 40 years together and are putting their trust in husband-and-wife team Jo and Andrew Alderton.

In Málaga, Shani and Andrew Hamilton line up three properties for Irish German couple Joy and Bernd and their two dogs.

On the Costa Blanca, the Aldertons are armed with a whopping 1.3 million euros to find a home for Joanne who, after five years of renting locally, is finally ready to put down roots.
