Summer on the Farm - Season 2

Season 2
They're joined by local farming heroes Rob and Dave Nicholson, and together the team check in on our favourite animals and attempt to bring the great British countryside into our living rooms. We'll be campaigning to get the whole nation to eat fresh local produce and ween ourselves off expensive imports, and getting the country to take part in challenges that will make us fall in love with our local natural wonders, from star-gazing to saving our beautiful rivers. We're joined by some of the team from Channel 5's The Yorkshire Vet, while JB Gill is out and about meeting local heroes across the UK, including roof thatchers in Norfolk, cheese-makers in Tottenham and sustainable crisp-makers in Herefordshire. Dr Amir Khan is live in the studio, myth busting hay fever remedies, and telling us why we should all be eating more watercress and how to turn our gardens into butterfly paradises. We'll be tasting some delicious food and drink from around the UK, and Cannon Hall Farm chef Tim Bilton cooks up a storm with some incredible recipes to make this summer. We've also got knife-making, bird-watching, dancing, kayaking, sheep-shearing, lambing, hay-baling and bee-keeping, and as many live thrills and spills as you could shake a shepherd's crook at! So get ready to spend the week at Cannon Hall Farm.

In each episode of Guy's Grocery Games, four talented chefs compete in a number of challenges as they navigate their way through the aisles of a grocery store, adhering to "real-world" obstacles. Whether it is shopping on a budget, substituting out-of-stock ingredients or grabbing groceries at closing time, each chef has to shop, prepare, and plate three different dishes using whatever they can pull off the shelves. Ultimately, the food does the talking, as one-by-one the losing chefs "check out," by a rotating panel of judges that includes Melissa d'Arabian, Richard Blais, G. Garvin, Troy Johnson, Catherine McCord, Aarti Sequeira, among others. The last chef standing goes on a shopping spree of a lifetime worth up to $20,000!
