Coming Home
When neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan's seemingly perfect life in Boston is turned upside down, she leaves the city and her boyfriend Andrew to return to her childhood home of Sullivan's Crossing, a picturesque Nova Scotia campground owned by her estranged father, Sully Sullivan, whom she hasn't seen in years. While there, Maggie attempts to reunite with her father and her old friends as she butts heads with Cal Jones, the irritating, yet handsome mysterious stranger who has been helping her father around the campground. But coming home isn't easy, and it brings up memories and feelings Maggie is not ready to face.

Homewrecker
Maggie tries to reconnect with Sully while awaiting news from home. Cal enlists Maggie's help with an injured resident, allowing her to see a new side to him. Meanwhile, Edna goes the extra mile to help a newlywed couple find romance and then her husband Frank returns the favour. Sydney convinces Maggie to let loose at karaoke, after which Cal escorts Maggie home only to find a surprise visitor waiting for her.

Detours
Sydney attempts to cheer up Maggie after she suffers a setback back at home. Frank and Edna help Sully, with the annual land blessing, but the festivities end early after a camper goes missing. Maggie and Cal work together with the search and rescue team unaware that another life hangs in the balance.

Rock and a Hard Place
Maggie and Cal work against the clock in a daring medical rescue, and in the process discover a clue to the whereabouts of a missing camper. Maggie learns a little more about Cal's past, while Sully receives disturbing news.

Pressure Drop
Cal unintentionally let's something slip while helping Maggie prepare to face her troubles back in Boston. Cal develops a friendship with elderly resident Roy Gunderson, and Sully inadvertently pushes Maggie even further away while struggling with his own personal demons.

Boiling Point
Sully tries to hide how much he's struggling from Frank and Edna while Cal continues to connect with Roy over their shared sense of loss. Roy confides in Cal about his granddaughter Lola's past trauma, and back in Boston Maggie's boyfriend, Andrew, is intent on repairing their relationship and plans a surprise. However, his plans are derailed when Maggie receives a disturbing call from Sullivan's Crossing.

Second Chances
After receiving some unfortunate news, Maggie returns to Sullivan's Crossing with Andrew. Edna and Frank plan a much needed holiday while Maggie attempts to share her love for the Crossing with a reluctant Andrew. After a night out, things take an unexpected turn.

Aftershock
Maggie continues to deal with the fallout of Andrew's visit, and Cal tries to help her deal with her emotional baggage. Sully accompanies Frank to town. After Maggie's medical skills are put to the test with a distressed climber, Cal decides to return the favour.

Can't Help Falling
After a terrible accident leaves a resident of the Crossing gravely injured, Maggie, aided by Cal and Sully, must face her fears as she puts her neurosurgical skills to use under less than desirable circumstances. Witnessing a side to Maggie he's never seen before, brings father and daughter closer together, but also causes Sully to reconsider whether life at the Crossing is in fact the right place for Maggie.

Sins of the Father
Maggie returns to Boston prepared to deal with the consequences of her professional actions, while Cal attempts to reconcile his own past. But just when Maggie thinks life finally might be returning to normal, a secret is revealed that causes her to question her life in the city. Returning to Sullivan's Crossing, Maggie is forced to face feelings of disappointment and rejection that ultimately lead her to confront Sully about her painful past and make a difficult choice.
