2022 Sugar Bowl: #5 Alabama Crimson Tide (10-2) vs. #9 Kansas State Wildcats (10-3)
From Caesars Superdome New Orleans, LA.
The No. 5 Crimson Tide and No. 9 Wildcats square off in the Sugar Bowl. The programs have never met. Kansas State upset College Football Playoff-bound TCU in overtime to win the Big 12 title. Alabama makes its 19th straight postseason appearance.

2024 Sugar Bowl: 3 Texas Longhorns vs. 2 Washington Huskies
From the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The No. 2 Huskies (13-0) take on the No. 3 Longhorns (12-1) in a College Football Playoff semifinal. Big 12 winner Texas appears in its first CFP. Washington held off Oregon to win the Pac-12. The Huskies beat the Longhorns in the 2022 Alamo Bowl.

2025 Sugar Bowl: Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Georgia Bulldogs
Live from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The College Football Playoff's quarterfinals concludes with the No. 7 Fighting Irish facing the No. 2 Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl. Notre Dame took down No. 10 Indiana 27-17 in the CFP opener Dec. 20. Georgia won the SEC championship game over Texas.
This game was moved from January 1st, to January 2nd after the Bourbon Street terrorist attack that killed at least 14 people in the early hours of New Year's Day.
