Episodio 1
Anna Battaglia has left the family firm and has recently worked in a new law firm when, under her office, she finds her father Giorgio, whom she hasn't seen for 25 years, waiting for her. That morning she faces her sister Nina, who remained in the family studio, in a lawsuit against a stand-up comedian and welcomes Parmegiani, a wealthy entrepreneur who wants to divorce his wife.

Episodio 2
In the end, however, it will be the man's wife who wants to be defended by Anna while the entrepreneur will turn to Marina Battaglia who is celebrating her 65th birthday that evening with a big party. While she is taking care of the final preparations for her wedding with Alessandro, the youngest of the Battaglia family, Viola, insists on her sisters that they meet her father.

Episodio 3
Some secrets from Anna and Massimo's past come back to light, as they work together on the case of a woman who wants to proceed with the implantation of frozen embryos with her ex-husband. Carla discovers that she has lived a lie for years and the sisters learn that Giorgio would never have wanted to abandon them.

Episodio 4
A hacker attack brings to light a list with the names of members of an extramarital dating site and Anna defends a well-known Honorable woman who wants to divorce her cheating Senator husband. Viola has doubts about the wedding.

Episodio 5
Anna would like to trust Alberto again, but little by little she understands that he is not telling her the whole truth. She delves into the case of a man in a dispute with his ex-wife who opposes their child's vaccination and advises a couple who would like to obtain the passwords to their deceased child's accounts.

Episodio 6
Nina discovers that Studio Battaglia is in dire straits and tries to make amends from Viola, who in turn tries unsuccessfully to make peace with Alessandro. Anna receives from Massimo the proposal to go on a business trip to Argentario. They will reach Carla who, having rejected her husband's millionaire offer, has decided to sue him.

Episodio 7
The trip to the seaside turns into a moment of escape for Anna, who, without compromising herself, indulges in flirtation with Massimo. Back home, she follows the case of a woman who is separating from her wife with whom she had entered into a civil union.

Episodio 8
At the Parmegiani separation hearing, Anna manages to get the better of Marina, who decides to sell the firm. Alessandro goes back on his decisions, the family celebrates Viola's wedding and for Nina too there seems to be the possibility of a new love. Alberto tries in every way to recover, but Anna discovers that Massimo is about to leave the studio.
