Season 1
Saving lives in a place like no other takes an emergency response like no other, and in the brand new documentary series SOS Extreme Rescues, the realities of rescue missions in Eryri - also known as Snowdonia – are laid bare. In this place, epic mountain ranges and dense forests sit alongside miles of coastline. On top of that, this awe-inspiring part of north Wales attracts millions of tourists each year. But whether it's a local or first-time visitor in danger, the series highlights the hard work and collaboration it takes when more than 17 dedicated local emergency and rescue teams to join forces to help those in danger and save lives.

Rescuers search for an injured man they think has taken magic mushrooms; two climbers get trapped on a dangerous ledge with no torches; and a family get lost on a notorious peak.

Facing Obstacles
Teams work together to rescue an injured man trapped in woodland in South Eryri; two walkers get lost when thick fog descends; and the team struggle to find a woman in a mountain's deep ridges.

A Rescue Network
A crash in a remote spot brings emergency teams together; helicopter teams winch a seriously injured woman out of a gorge; and volunteers on race day get an unexpected callout.

Four Seasons
The race is on to find two climbers stranded in deep snow, before night falls; a spate of wildfires puts fire and rescue teams under strain; and a hiker is caught out, the day after the clocks change.

A thrill-seeker fears he's led his fiancée to her death on an icy mountain; rescuers help a dog in distress; and a trainee paramedic is in the right place at the right time.

The Repair Shop is an antidote to our throwaway culture and shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.
