Auditions: Day One
So You Think You Can Dance is back and better than ever! Season 18 will infuse a new format reflecting the authentic experience of building a successful career in dance, as so many alums have. Each week, contestants will compete in new, intense dance challenges that will give them a real taste of the career, from performing in a music video or a football halftime show to going toe-to-toe on stage with a Broadway performer. In the end, it will be up to the judges to decide their fate. Eliminations will take place weekly, with the Top 3 finalists competing in the season's spectacular finale, but only one will win the $100,000 grand prize and be crowned the winner of So You Think You Can Dance Season 18. This season will also debut a documentary-style look at the contestants' dynamics, following them throughout the competition as they go through their personal and competitive journeys.

The Final Audition: Top Ten Revealed
35 dancers have made it to the next round, day four of auditions on Season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance where they will face the toughest challenges yet, similar to what they would at real auditions while seeking a dance career. There will be two rounds of competition choreographed by Galen Hooks one solo round and the second in pairs. 35 will become 16 and then 10 as dancers vie for a top spot on the show.

Challenge #1: Music Videos
After scouring the country for America's best dancers, only 10 remain as the competition continues with JoJo Siwa returning to the judging panel. This season the challenges will come off the shiny stage floor and into the real world where each week the dancers will be tested by world-class choreographers and pushed to their limits. Based on the challenges the bottom performers will have to dance for their lives and someone will be eliminated every week until the season finale where one person will win $100,000 and be crowned the winner of So You Think You Can Dance. This week the dancers will split into two groups and take on music video challenges choreographed by Emmy nominee Luther Brown and choreographers Phillip and Makenzie Chbeeb. Who will have what it takes to continue in the competition and who will go home?

Challenge #2: Broadway
Tonight, the top eight dancers take on the Broadway stage as the competition continues. This week the dancers will split into two groups and take on Broadway challenges choreographed by Emmy-winning choreographer Al Blackstone and choreographer and director Sarah O'Gleby. Who will rise to the challenge and who will be dancing for their lives in the hopes of remaining on the show? Based on the challenges the bottom performers will have to dance for their lives and someone will be eliminated every week until the season finale where one person will win $100,000 and be crowned the winner of So You Think You Can Dance.

Challenge #3: Movies
Tonight, the top six dancers take on the movies as the competition continues. This week the dancers will split into two groups and take on movie-themed challenges choreographed by Jamal Sims and Christopher Scott. Who will rise to the challenge and who will be dancing for their lives in the hopes of remaining on the show? Based on the challenges the bottom performers will have to dance for their lives and someone will be eliminated every week until the season finale where one person will win $100,000 and be crowned the winner of So You Think You Can Dance.

Challenge #4: On Tour
Tonight, the competition continues as the top five dancers take on a tour challenge. This week the dancers will take on a tour-themed challenge featuring two performances for musician T-Pain choreographed by Fullout Cortland and Kyle Hanagami. Who will rise to the challenge and who will be dancing for their lives in the hopes of remaining on the show? Based on the challenges the bottom performers will have to dance for their lives and someone will be eliminated every week until the season finale where one person will win $100,000 and be crowned the winner of So You Think You Can Dance.

Challenge #5: Brand Challenge
The competition continues as the top four dancers take on a brand challenge. This week the dancers will take on a brand-themed dance challenge choreographed by Hi-Hat featuring SYTYCD All-Star, Emmy-nominated choreographer and professional dancer, Witney Carson. Who will rise to the challenge and remain on the show? This week all four dancers will have to dance for their lives, and someone will be eliminated before next week's season finale where one person will win $100,000 and be crowned the winner of So You Think You Can Dance.

The Finale
After a challenging season, the final three dancers face off in their pursuit of the $100,000 grand prize and one will be named the season 18 winner of So You Think You Can Dance. In the exciting season finale, the top ten return and perform a group number choreographed by Luther Brown, and the final three each select someone from the top ten to perform with them in their final performance pieces. In addition to Luther Brown the choreographers for the final performance pieces from the top three include returning All-Star Kayla Radomski with Tucker Barkley, All-Star Ivan Koumaev with Diana Matos, and Talia Favia. Additionally, more All-Stars return alongside the top 10 as Natasha Bedingfield performs her iconic hit single "Unwritten," including fan favorites Season 17 winner Alexis Warr, Season 16 winner Bailey Munoz, Alex Wong, and Jasmine Harper. Who will have what it takes to win $100,000 and be crowned the winner of So You Think You Can Dance?
