About a Boy
A routine stop turns into a parent's worst nightmare when a 6-year-old boy is abducted during a carjacking. Tess and Jake race against time to rescue the child, tracking the kidnapper's potential motivations and leading to a tense standoff. As the case culminates in a high-speed chase, Tess's empathy helps defuse a potentially fatal situation, reuniting the boy with his family, and forcing Tess to reflect on her own troubled family dynamics. Meanwhile, Sunny immerses herself in the case to avoid her own trauma, while Matt begins to move on from Tess.
