The series premiere of Showtime at the Apollo will showcase the Apollo's legendary long-running, live talent competition – which provides a platform for up-and-coming artists to perform in front of the toughest audience in the world. Performers with various talents, from singing to juggling knives, will compete in hopes of winning over the Apollo crowd and having the opportunity to come back in the season finale for a chance at headlining their very own show at the legendary Apollo Theater. The Apollo audience is famed as one of entertainment's most boisterous and brutally honest and those contestants who don't win over the crowd risk being booed off the stage.
