Episode 1
In this first instalment the judges are in Central Scotland, visiting two stunning contemporary homes in Kirriemuir in Angus and Coupar Angus in Perthshire, before poring over a new-build stone cottage in the Perthshire village of Stanley.

Episode 2
In the north of Scotland, the judges see a converted steading in Boat of Garten, an eco-home in Findhorn and a restored castle near Tain. Only one can win through to the final.

Episode 3
In the west of Scotland, the judges visit an elegant Edwardian villa, a flat with sliding walls and a stunning symmetrical home on the Sound of Mull. Only one can make the final.

Episode 4
In the south of Scotland, the judges consider a home in the trees, an extended cottage and a home whose views render them speechless. But only one can make it to the final.

Episode 5
In the north east of Scotland, three impressive homes vie for a place in the final. A converted bothy, a Hollywood makeover and creative taxidermy are all under consideration.

Episode 6
In the east of Scotland, three striking homes compete for a place in the final. The judges consider a farmhouse, a bungalow and a stunningly designed wheelchair-accessible home.

Episode 7
On the Islands, the judges see a stunning upside down house, a home fusing Scotland and America and one with views so striking they almost miss the house.

Episode 8
The judges have travelled the country and visited 21 amazing homes. Now the finalists gather as the overall winner is chosen, but only one will be ‘Scotland's Home of the Year'.
