Episode 1
Danny Dyer hosts the show in which eight celebrities are challenged to live for eight days in complete darkness. The contenders - Chris Eubank, Paul Gascoigne, Max George, Nicola Adams, Chris McCausland, Scarlett Moffatt, Donna Preston and Chloe Burrows - must complete a series of challenges to allow them to win, or lose, vital resources. In the first episode, Scarlett is given a secret mission with night vision goggles.

Episode 2
The celebrities have been living in the dark for 30 hours, and tensions are already reaching boiling point. Chris Eubank still isn't happy about the swearing in the group, prompting Chris McCausland to defend the younger members. They are shackled into pairs for 12 hours, with one pair forced to spend an extra 12 hours trapped in a two metre square box.

Episode 3
Chris Eubank is still not happy, this time it's due to Gazza telling a story about spending nine hours on a plane next to a dead man. In another challenge, the celebrities are asked `What's in the Box?" as they try to identify a Cumberland sausage, gherkins and a rabbit in complete darkness.

Episode 4
The bunker is taking its toll on the celebrities as the competition nears its end. They face an electrifying challenge involving pitch-black orienteering and painful shocks. Max makes some emotional revelations.

Episode 5
Danny Dyer presents the final of the pitch-black contest, which sees the celebrities more reliant on each other than ever. As Chris Eubank, Paul Gascoigne, Max George, Nicola Adams, Chris McCausland, Scarlett Moffatt, Donna Preston and Chloe Burrows compete to earn some precious moments in the light, their bond is at an all-time high. But that could all change when each of them are presented with a leap-of-faith task that could impact the entire group's future in the competition.
