Conclusion. Suspected of selling out to the Soviets, Lee and Amanda go into hiding after learning Lee is the target of an Agency manhunt.

CIA files indicate that Lee's parents were double agents, and link the past with a current plot to assassinate a dignitary.

A frightened Soviet is found hiding in Amanda's yard, claiming that the KGB smuggled him into the U.S. to help knock out America's strategic-command system.

A million dollar art heist and a murder get in the way of Amanda and Lee's wedding.

Amanda and Lee's honeymoon is unexpectedly and tragically cut short when Amanda is shot by gold smuggling thieves.

"One Flew East"
The Agency is blamed for the kidnapping of a famous poet and vocal critic of the United States. Lee and Amanda are charged to find him and exonerate the Agency.

"All That Glitters"
Lee investigates when priceless jewels and a top-secret spy list stolen during the invasion of Grenada, are among the birthday gifts given to his former girlfriend.

"Suitable for Framing"
Francine and Lee fall victim to a KGB plan to humiliate the Agency.

"A Matter of Choice"
Lee links his escaped nemesis and Francine's old fiancé, who suddenly returns after five years.

"The Khrushchev List"
Lee suspects that retired Agency founder Harry Thornton and former Soviet Embassy courier Christina Golitsyn are on an impossible mission: to obtain Khrushchev's spy list implicating American Government officials.

Amandaland
Following three series of the Merman-produced, BAFTA award-winning series Motherland, a brand-new spin-off, Amandaland, is coming to the BBC, focused on Amanda.
Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison).
With both Manus and Georgie now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco anxiety. Not even a woman as certain of her parenting as Amanda can deal with these nightmares alone.
Then there's Amanda's mother Felicity who is constantly around, and completely in denial that she is, in fact, lonely. Theirs is a slightly unhealthy co-dependent relationship based on backhanded compliments and veiled snipes about her new home.
After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.
