Drew tasks Steve with a crumbling rosewood card table, Serkan hopes horologist Paul can get an RAF cockpit clock ticking again and Karyn wants Chris to breathe new life into a taxidermy swan.

The Beautiful Game
Michael and Maria tackle a football arcade game from the 1950's, Serkan sets Ted a challenge of restoring two art deco cinema lights; and Saxon enlists joiner Robin to help save a huge haberdashers cabinet.

Fat Les
Rebecca Pritchard entrusts her precious heirloom, a cherub statue affectionately known as Fat Les, to sculptor Nick Elphick who must restore Les back to his best.

Pulling The Strings
Michael and Maria Start work on a 19th century Pinocchio puppet. And neon light designer, Julia Bickerstaff, restores a period advertising sign for Riley Cars.

Arcade games specialist Mark Squires rescues a 1960s pinball machine. Meanwhile, upholsterer Craig uses his creative magic to revive a mid-century G-plan sofa.

A pair of huge church candlesticks become a woodworm infested nightmare for gilder Ruth, upholsterer Ray gives a dog eared bench seat a new lease of life, while leather expert Martin rescues a pair of hundred year old clown shoes for the Museum of Comedy.

Amandaland
Following three series of the Merman-produced, BAFTA award-winning series Motherland, a brand-new spin-off, Amandaland, is coming to the BBC, focused on Amanda.
Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison).
With both Manus and Georgie now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco anxiety. Not even a woman as certain of her parenting as Amanda can deal with these nightmares alone.
Then there's Amanda's mother Felicity who is constantly around, and completely in denial that she is, in fact, lonely. Theirs is a slightly unhealthy co-dependent relationship based on backhanded compliments and veiled snipes about her new home.
After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.

The Pitt
