Rising Lights
Rūrangi: Rising Lights takes place two weeks after the end of season one and has Jem navigating that attraction with Caz. Rūrangi's culture war intensifies between the transgender activists, farmers and local Māori - all while ancestors from the past reach out to the living with unfinished business.

Anahera stands up to Aunty Beth on the marae, Caz returns to Auckland to seek out Ellie, and Jem experiences his first queer nightclub.

Plum Life
Jem is crushed to realise the town is gossiping about his sexuality. Caz tries to convince Anahera to let local queer kids host a Rainbow Youth Group in her op shop.

In Milk We Trust
Caz is forced to watch the documentary about his dead lover, Anahera and Ellie have a karaoke duel, and Jem wants to go back in the closet.

The Boat of Truth
Tensions in Rūrangi grow. Anahera confesses her true feelings, Jem makes a painful decision, and Caz's pursuit of Andy's ghost takes him to a dangerous new low.
