The Delta
Len's journey begins near Mexico's Sea of Cortez, where the Colorado River once flowed but has now literally run dry. After meeting with conservation groups to understand how one country is advocating for its long-neglected access to Colorado River water, Len gravel bikes his way toward the other side of the border, where the river's power to fuel one of the U.S.'s largest agricultural regions is on full display in California's Imperial Valley.

The Natural River, sort of
Len bikes his way along the Colorado River aqueduct, en route to the first of the river's several major resevoirs: Lake Havisu. After paddling the Topock gorge, Len finds himself inadvertently floats into the aquatic motorsports mayhem that's made Havisu one of the country's best known spring break destinations.

Vegas Baby
Len rides to Las Vegas, the city known for excess, where he gets a lesson in water efficiency, and weather modification and goes climbing with some unexpected residents.
