A railroad guard, who is having problems with thieves stealing from freight cars, gets help from Joe.

Bon Voyage
Joe helps a truant boy. A Greek fisherman (Paul Picerni) finds that the love of a stray dog (Joe) is the key to his young nephew's (Ricky Powell) heart in "Bon Voyage." A fatherless boy, in the custody of his uncle, skips school and insists on becoming a fisherman until a beautiful dog changes his life.

Missionary
Two missionaries save Joe from a motorcyclist.

False Alarm
A cry wolf story. Two boys jokingly ring the fire alarms and cause chaos, Joe teaches them a lesson.

The Big Race
Runaway German shepherd Joe is befriended by Jody, a girl jockey, when he wanders into the stable area of a racetrack. Joe helps find Jody when she is kidnapped.

Homecoming
Albert Salmi guest-stars as a stepfather whose newly acquired daughter (Kristie McNichol) refuses to accept him, in "The Homecoming." Clyde Barnes (Salmi) and his wife (E.J. Peaker) try to explain to little Judy that her stepfather's refusal to allow her to adopt a stray German shepherd (Joe) stems from his brother's earlier death caused by a dog. Judy and her new-found canine friend run off, encountering trouble on the way.

Book has gathered around him a host of lovable, damaged misfits whom he informally protects, cajoles, and mentors. His wife Trottie runs the wallpaper shop next door. She's a charismatic adventuress whom Book loves deeply but not physically, for they are in a 'lavender' marriage to help conceal Book's sexual orientation in a time when it was illegal to be gay.
Bookish marries post-war nostalgia with the reckless and life-affirming atmosphere of the times, creating a fast-paced and stylish detective drama.

As the Emmy Award-winning head writer for "SNL," Meyers has established a reputation for sharp wit and perfectly timed comedy, and has gained fame for his spot-on jokes and satire. Meyers takes his departure from "SNL" to his new post at "Late Night," as Jimmy Fallon moves to The Tonight Show.

Before joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed The Colbert Report, which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
