Episode 1
On the series return of RPA, Fiona was due to be married late last year but had to postpone after a nagging pain was diagnosed as a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer. Also, 28-year-old Mikael arrives in Emergency complaining of severe testicular pain. An ultrasound reveals a mango sized tumour.

Episode 2
Twenty-eight-year-old Fiona endures a marathon operation which involves removing her pelvis, blasting it with radiation, then putting it back. Also, 10-year-old Sam has arrived in Emergency with a suspected broken collarbone after a fall in the playground.

Episode 3
Fiona has had a total hip replacement and the crucial test now is for her hip to heal as she only has one chance at making it work. Also, John has been diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus and now has to have major surgery to remove part of his oesophagus and his stomach.

Episode 4
Twenty-eight-year-old Fiona has had to postpone her wedding to deal with a nasty bone cancer in her hip. Georgia has a mysterious lump in her neck and doctors have decided it is best to remove it to find out exactly what it is.

Episode 5
John has endured chemotherapy and a massive operation to remove his cancer, now doctors have warned he may not survive. Also, Serina is 24 weeks pregnant, but a potentially lethal cocktail of blood types has put her unborn baby at risk.

Episode 6
Tonight, Sarina's risky procedures begin to keep her baby alive until doctors can safely deliver her. Also, single dad Garth has an extremely rare disease which affects his lungs and causes recurrent and dangerous bouts of pneumonia.

Young chef Matthew was 18 when doctors discovered a deadly melanoma on the back of his neck. Seven years on the 25 year old is having strange hallucinations and seizures. Also, mother of four and country cop Kathleen has had to hang up her gun belt while doctors investigate a lump on her pelvis.

Also, 23-year-old Sharon has been totally blind since she was five, the result of a number of health problems that have also caused the loss of one kidney.

Thirty-three-year-old Renee has been told she has only two months to live without a kidney transplant or dialysis. Her best hope is a donated kidney. Also, 20-year-old Robert took himself to the doctor after having trouble breathing. A scan has revealed a cancerous tumour on his thyroid gland.

Big brother Craig is making an extraordinary sacrifice to save his younger adopted sister's life. Also, a keen soccer coach and active family man has a collapsed lung, and he will need an urgent procedure to try to reinflate it.

Tim has a rare cancer that is invading his scalp, and doctors suspect it is a cruel legacy from the Vietnam War, where he may have been exposed to the herbicide known as Agent Orange.

His mum is in hospital with cancer, and now Galahad's been told he has a deadly bone cancer which could claim his leg. Also, Jat is on the roof with his dad when he topples off a ladder and lands on concrete.

Episode 14
Nineteen-year-old Galahad's been told he has a deadly bone cancer which could claim his leg. In part two of his story, he will be given the results of scans that will tell doctors whether his leg can be saved.

Episode 15
Doctors have managed to save 19-year-old Galahad's leg after a lengthy operation to remove a deadly tumour. In part three of his story, he faces the long road to recovery with remarkable courage. Also, 38-year-old Kelly has a condition where the compression of nerves and blood vessels between her neck and her armpit can cause dangerous clotting. She will have one of her ribs removed to avoid the same problem occurring again.

Episode 16
Thirty-nine-year-old Shaun experiences a sudden and excruciating headache while at work. He is rushed to his local hospital by ambulance, and after scans reveal a bleed on his brain, he is transferred to RPA, lucky to be alive.

After experiencing a severe headache while at work, 39-year-old Shaun is told an aneurysm had ruptured in his brain. Also, Antoinette has an abnormal growth on her thyroid that is causing her voice to change.

Episode 18
Showing amazing strength, 19-year-old Felicity takes in the news that she has breast cancer and calmly accepts that both her breasts will be removed. She is the youngest patient ever treated for breast cancer at RPA. And after experiencing a severe headache while at work, 39-year-old Shaun is told an aneurysm has ruptured in his brain.

Episode 19
Showing amazing strength, 19-year-old Felicity takes in the news that she has breast cancer and calmly accepts that both her breasts will be removed. She is the youngest patient ever treated for breast cancer at RPA. Also, Faye's debilitating symptoms have the led to the discovery of abnormal pressure on her brain stem. She has a choice: do nothing and deteriorate or risk a marathon operation that could make her worse.

Episode 20
In part three of Felicity's extraordinary story, she has a special visitor and decides to get a new hairdo before starting her chemotherapy. Also, construction worker Adam is rushed into emergency after a 10kg beam falls on his head from nine storeys above.

In part four of Felicity's extraordinary story, she has a second operation which may threaten her reconstruction. Also, some tricky manoeuvres have left 19-year-old professional dancer Lukas on crutches.

Episode 22
Carolyne has been rushed to RPA by air ambulance with swine flu. The 38 year old mother of two is being kept alive by a special portable lung bypass machine called ECMO. Also, Susie has been trying to fall pregnant for the past three years. An investigation has revealed some nasty complications that are likely to prevent her from conceiving naturally.
