By ripping out a dilapidated covered balcony, adding a 10-foot bi-fold door, and building a sustainable open balcony with metal mesh railings allows natural light to pour in and provides views to a lush backyard. Adding a colorful & abstract landscape mural, crochet t-shirt rug, and reclaimed wood doors on a track system help to bring the outdoors in. Placing the bed in the middle of the room with a custom headboard with storage, eliminates the need for extra furniture and makes the space feel bigger and airier.
