Rita tries to play matchmaker with Patty and the UPS guy; Kip and Hallie's plan to get tattoos doesn't go over well with Rita and Jay.

Patty and Rita meet two young musicians and agree to watch their band play.

Rita allows Hallie to be in charge when she and Jay go away for the weekend.

After a long day at work, Rita is bombarded with requests from her two daughters; Rita feels unappreciated for all her work around the house.

Rita and Jay's plan to teach Hallie the value of money backfires; Hallie learns a valuable lesson about college.

Rita reveals to Jay's poker buddies that he cried at the end of "Charlotte's Web."

Rita learns that Hallie is being pressured by her friends to have sex; Shannon asks Jay to participate in her school's Career Day.

Jay and Rita enjoy a little free time without the other knowing about it; Hallie and Kip learn that becoming a vegetarian isn't so easy.

Owen's wife kicks him out of the house for playing in the band and not job hunting.

Kip is caught playing drums for a younger band; Rita tries to write her own music.

Patty comes to the rescue when Rita has a bad cold and can barely get out of bed.

Rita is reunited with an old friend, whom she holds a grudge against, through Facebook.

Jay and Rita ground Hallie for going to a college party; Shannon guilts Rita and Jay into throwing a birthday party for the dog; Patty wants Rita's hunky personal trainer to have some part in the band.

Rita learns that Jay's aunt Mavis doesn't like her so she tries to win her over.

Jay's new client Sam "The Storage King" Bowman invites Rita's band to play at his company's annual party; Shannon convinces Hallie to do household chores.

Rita goes head-to-head with another mother at Shannon's school during a fundraising event; Hallie buys a car that is the same as Jay's first car.

Rita questions whether her marriage has lost some of its romance with Valentine's Day approaching.

Rita gets a promotion at work but must give up the band when she becomes too overwhelmed with all her duties.
