Monty Don and Joe Swift embark on a horticultural trip around the globe at the world-famous flower show, discovering the people and plants that make it an international event. They are joined by Carol Klein, Adam Frost and the team to meet the international fleet of designers and plantspeople who travel thousands of miles to bring fresh ideas and fabulous floral creations to the show each year.

Monty Don and Joe Swift reveal the trendsetters amongst the designers and growers at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and discover who has influenced our gardening habits. Elsewhere, fashion designer Paul Smith shares what inspires him at the show year after year.

A Better World
Monty Don and Joe Swift celebrate the positive power of plants as they focus on the designers and growers striving for a better world with the creations they bring to the event. They reveal how, over the years, the show has contributed to the better promotion of the health of the planet, plants and people, and talk to Countryfile presenter Ellie Harrison and BBC correspondent Fergal Keane about the importance of gardens to mental wellbeing.

Sophie Raworth, Joe Swift and the team end a week of programmes looking back at the best of the horticultural event by focusing firmly on the public's favourite gardens, plants and personalities. There is a look at how the Queen and members of the royal family have been involved over the years and Sophie and Joe reveal the designer who has won the BBC/RHS People's Choice Garden of the Decade.
