Season 2
Kim Engelbrecht and Iain Glen reprise their roles as Reyka Gama and Angus Speelman for the second season of Reyka, with the action taking place against the backdrop of the Durban Harbour, the largest port in Africa.

Episodes

Episode 1
It's six months later and things are going well for Reyka. She's working out of a new police station and she's met a guy. But after a disastrous TV interview and the discovery of a murder, cracks appear in her 'perfect' new world.

Episode 2
When a second victim turns up at Lover's Lane, the police are misled by the killer's MO. Reyka, however, knows one thing - the missing shoes are the key. In the meantime, Speelman gets a day pass to appear before social services.

Episode 3
The ambush fails and the killer evades arrest. Reyka starts to build a profile and make sense of the missing shoes. When the killer's first female victim washes up on shore, Reyka links her to a hotel. A raid is being prepared.

Episode 4
After a man drowns in her bed, Reyka finds herself at the centre of the investigation. The walls close in on her and she needs Elsa's support. Meanwhile, Speelman's visit to Portia unearths terrible secrets and ends in tragedy.

Episode 5
The promise ring found on Portia's finger links the investigation back to Speelman. He hides but finds himself the target of unwanted attention. The first female victim is identified and the police order a raid on Lover's Lane.

Episode 6
Speelman slips through Reyka's fingers, but has to seek refuge in the harbour underworld. In the meantime, Reyka draws links between the cobbler shop and Lover's Lane murders, but struggles to unlock the killer's identity.

Episode 7
Reyka is caught between helping Jodie find her mother, issues with Elsa, and connecting the dots in her murky past. Speelman assumes a false identity and tries to flee the country. In addition, Tanner makes a horrifying discovery.

Many of these items have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history: from an accordion played in the Blitz by a woman who is now in her 90s, to a beautifully crafted clock made by a father who was completely blind; a Pinball machine that is currently being used as a kitchen counter, and a Davenport desk with its trademark fake drawers which fooled burglars - and their crowbar.
The Repair Shop is an antidote to our throwaway culture and shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.
