Joe is a new dad with daddy issues.His son River is adorable, his wife Penny lovely,his mom supported and loving,his dad no idea.Joe and dad had a falling out when Joe was 19,and 19 years later they're seeing each other again. Problems:Joe's home is plain.Joe's colorblind leading to some interesting outfits.Joe is an amateur songwriter and he would love to perform something for his dad,there is a very depressed fish in a nasty looking tank in the family dining room.Joe has a scraggly amount of hair and Joe would love to find a way to connect with River.Carson sets up a system of dividing colors in Joe's closet.Jai and Shawn Colvin go over one of Joe's songs and help him tweak the lyrics.Jai also teaches Joe how to wrap a present,Jai surprises Joe with a new amp,Jai also sends the fish to an aquarium.Kyan and Joe get their haircut together,and later Kyan gives a lesson in baby massage as way for Joe and River to bond.Ted takes Joe and Penny to a huge Central Market and get the ingredien
