Protection
Liz Nyles is responsible for the safety of a witness until trial. When a shooting occurs at the shelter, Liz is shocked. Worse still, she learns that her colleague Paul Brandice, with whom she had a secret romance, was also at the scene and was badly injured. Liz is determined to find the killer and find out who leaked information about the shelter.

Don't Trust Anyone
Liz is desperate to protect the team and limit the damage of the leak. She is forced to take drastic measures to protect her young witness, who is now a target.

Pressure
Liz enlists the help of her colleague Rick Brewley, who specializes in organized crime, to dig deeper into one of Brandice's contacts. As pressure at work mounts, Liz uses her position to gain access to confidential information. She's determined to try and tie Crowther to the case, but at the same time she can't let go of the worry that Brandice is also involved.

Sabotage
Liz continues her search for evidence that someone in the department leaked information, but how long can she continue her secret investigation before she is stopped? And how much is she prepared to risk to uncover the truth?

In Too Deep
Liz discovers a clue that brings her closer to Crowther and his world. As the investigation progresses, it becomes increasingly clear that her enemies will do everything they can to cover their tracks.

Conspiracy
Isolated and with nothing left to lose, Liz crosses more and more lines in her desperate search for the truth. But can she uncover the conspiracy before the corrupt forces succeed in stopping her? And will she ever know the whole truth about her relationship with Brandice?
