Crammed in close quarters with her sister's family, Sarah, and partner Mari, desperately need a house to raise their baby daughter. They want a spacious, open concept place in a family-friendly neighborhood. The Property Brothers come to the rescue and help them find a budget-friendly dream home that can be renovated on time. With a budget that doesn't match the couple's expectations, Drew and Jonathan struggle to sell the potential of a fixer-upper. Sarah and Mari are excited by Jonathan's designs but a snag in the deal stresses everybody out. As they peel back the layers of the old house, Mari and Sarah wonder if they've made a mistake. Then, unforeseen issues threaten to sink the budget while another unwanted surprise jeopardizes the completion date. While managing his own stress, Jonathan must find a fun distraction for the tense couple as his team races against time to seal the deal.
