Episodes

Into the Wild
Bear trainer Jeff Watson embarks on a mission to teach his captive, 700-pound grizzly bears, Bob and Screech, how to survive in the deep wild.

To Teach a Bear to Fish
Jeff releases his bears, Bob and Screech, into the habitat where he begins his lifelong dream of re-wilding them; the first lesson, fishing, proves more difficult than Jeff imagined and Bob appears to fall behind Screech.

What About Bob?
Jeff teaches the bears to forage in the wild, but Bob's foot continues to be a concern; when the bear slashes Jeff in the arm, he refuses medical care; after losing the bears, Jeff must think about the difficulty of them actually leaving the nest.

Bears on the Run
Although the unconventional hunting lessons Jeff taught Bob and Screech failed to prepare them to hunt game in the wild, he finds they may be learning the skills on their own, but he is agonizing over the inevitable parting of ways with his bears.

Teenage Bears
Jeff makes progress teaching Bob and Screech how to feed themselves, but now has to prepare them for winter hibernation.

Letting Go
As the bears' re-wilding journey nears its end, Jeff has one lesson left to teach - fear of humans; their release date is imminent but they must be ready to survive on their own.
