Port reveals their shared musical heritage, and we hear from their musical friends living in the southernmost county in Ireland. Accompanying Julie from Scotland are renowned singer Mary Smith and one of the best fiddle players around, Rachel Harris. They discover that Cork is full of talent, and the foursome meet traditional singers Eoini Maidhici Ó Suilleabháin and Nell Ní Chróinín and accordion wizard, Jackie Daly.

Port reveals the shared shared musical heritage of our two presenters and we meet their musical friends who have their musical roots in the city. They discover that Connemara is a hotbed of talent and perform with singer Pol Ó Ceannabháinn, accordian maestro Colm Gannon and the Kane sisters, amongst others.

They discover that Lewis is full of talent and they four meet acclaimed musicians; piper James Mackenzie, fiddler Alasdair White and renowned traditional singers Murdo MacDonald (Wasp), Isobel Ann Martin and Mary Smith.
