Episode 1
In a terrifying case of home invasion by three hooded men wielding a baseball bat, a family is subjected to a violent ordeal, late at night, in their own home in a suburban street. The family members are abused and violently assaulted, with the men demanding one thing – ‘where are the drugs?' Rushing to the scene, police officers discover that they have no idea why they were attacked. Could it be a horrific case of mistaken identity? But who are the violent offenders who attacked the family? Searching for their suspects, CID Detective Simon Hawkins and the team work day and night to track down the offenders. Once they get the evidence to confront them at interview, will it be enough to convict this violent gang?

Episode 2
A devasting rampage of distressing and targeted burglaries is terrorising the elderly and vulnerable around a single town. The MO is the same every time and the police are called out almost daily to yet another ransacked address, but the perpetrator evades them. Detectives quickly suspect that the break-ins might be the work of one man who is known to them. CID Inspector Tom Smith and his team need to find and apprehend him fast – and that's not going to be easy. This serial offender is no stranger to police tactics, so they need to act fast and second guess their target. As the suspect continues to evade capture, the burglaries carry on, then after days of investigation the detectives finally pull in a suspect. But in the interview room will the detectives be able to break through his evasiveness and build enough evidence to secure a conviction, and take this dangerous man off the streets?

Episode 3

Detectives investigate after a violent attack on a group of friends on a night out leaves one of them critically injured and fighting for his life in hospital.
