While practicing with Ash, Aipom interferes in her battle and Dawn convinces Ash to join the contest. As the two get registered, Jessie will also be entering the contest with James' Carnivine, while James and Meowth sell fake seals. As the contest begins, Dawn is nervous while Ash and Jessie are confident. Can Dawn win her first contest?
