Un assassí en sèrie a començat a matar al barri de l'Eixample, ja ha assassinat a tres persones. El Lopes comença a prendre mesures de seguretat perquè s'adona que cada vegada mata més aprop de casa i la Carbonell descobreix el mètode per escollir les víctimes, l'ordre alfabètic. Aquests indicis porten a pensar que la pròxima víctima pot ser el David. La policia els ve a visitar i els dóna una descripció i un retrat robot de l'assassí. Amb aquestes pistes, el David creu que l'Emma és la culpable i convenç al Lopes i a la Carbonell per pujar al pis de l'Emma a investigar. Allà es troben el revisor del gas mort a l'armari, però l'Emma els demostra que no és l'assassina. Per la seva banda, el Ramon demostra al Pol i a la Mercedes que és karateka cinturó negre, de manera que els entrena per poder-se defensar si es troben l'assassí.
