Com cada any, la iaia vol participar en el viatge que organitza la parròquia. El David està fart d'acompanyar-la cada any a Lourdes i convenç al Lopes perquè hi vagi ell, però resulta que aquest any se'n van a Cuba i es mort d'enveja quan se n'assabenta. El Lopes torna del viatge acompanyat de la Diana, una cubana amb qui es vol casar perquè així ella pugui aconseguir la nacionalitat espanyola i poder treballar a Catalunya. Perquè la Diana pogués venir, el Lopes va falsificar el bitllet d'avió de la iaia i ella es va quedar a Cuba. El David s'ofereix per a casar-se amb la Diana amb l'excusa que ell és molt ric i això li obrirà més portes per trobar feina. Es produeix un conflicte entre els nois ja que tots dos s'han enamorat de la Diana, però només el que renunciï a l'amor s'hi podrà casar ja que ella només es vol casar pels papers i se'n va a treballar a Finlàndia. Tot i això, la Diana també sent alguna cosa pel Lopes.

The winning star gets $50,000 for charity and bragging rights for his or her mentor. Not all of the celebrities will make the cut, however; after an opening potluck dinner each mentor selects three recruits to be on her team, leaving one celebrity to be sent home before the competition really begins. Burrell is looking to extend her record to 5-2, while Ray looks to get the win in her first season.
