Joanne Cantwell presents the conclusion of the men's track cycling team sprint at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome, and an evening of athletics at the Stade de France, as the women's 200m champion is crowned. Jamaica's Shericka Jackson was a pre-event favourite in the 200m, as was all-conquering Greek Miltiadis Tentoglou in the men's long jump. The athletics schedule features the women's 400m hurdles semi-finals at 7.07, men's long jump final from 7.15, men's 1500m final at 7.50, women's 3,000m steeplechase final at 8.10 and the women's 200m final at 8.40, while the women's hammer final takes place throughout the evening.
