Malédiction
Summer 1982. While Germany and France are playing in the Football World Cup, the inhabitants of a small town in Provence are preparing to receive the German correspondents of their high school children. While Pierre Seguin, the mayor, meets the German teachers, his grandson Vincent meets Frank, his correspondent, who is blind. But Pierre's mind is elsewhere. His night was restless: he and his wife were woken up by what they took to be an intruder. There was no one there, but Pierre is convinced he saw a strange green phosphorescence. The young people seem to get along well, despite the language barrier. Until the moment when they in turn experience the supernatural.

Profanation
The authorities are discreetly searching for Philippe, trying not to alarm the German correspondents. Vincent, the mayor's son, has led his classmates to a site with a bad reputation, where the high school students have started a séance. But everything has gone wrong. Pierre seems to be hiding something.

France
After Philippe's body is discovered at the bottom of the river, Yasmina's father is immediately suspected. His daughter thinks it's because he's Arab. Pierre is overwhelmed by events. The young people understand that it's up to them to solve this case. Yasmina's father is out of the question. It was the ouija board that started it all. They have to open a certain tomb in order to lift the curse. What they don't know is the terrible tragedy that happened in the city at the end of the war, to which all the events seem linked.

La nuit des étoiles filantes
Farid confesses to Louis that he is Philippe's murderer. But Isabelle understands that his confession is questionable. Meanwhile, the teenagers convince Mathieu that all is not lost, provided he returns home before his father. His father begins to have suspicions. When evening falls, strange relationships develop between the characters. But when Jacques discovers what Oliver did with Laure, he lets the dog loose. While the others search for Oliver in the forest, Frank and Alice witness a scene from 1944: the moment when Gaston, eager to show that he is a resistance fighter, threatens to kill the Wehrmacht deserter.

La nuit de Séville
France and Germany are about to face each other in the semi-finals of the World Cup. In town, the teenagers have other concerns. Mathieu's main concern is to save his grandmother from Jacques' clutches. Fortunately, Oliver finds a way to lock her in the cellar. When Mathieu asks his father for an explanation, he explains that he only wanted to protect his mother. He then reveals the family history to him. Jacques is the son of a German, and his mother's head was shaved at the Liberation. He lived his entire childhood in shame. Upset, Mathieu asks his father if he is Philippe's murderer.

Catharsis
After Schumacher attacks Battiston, the Germans are no longer popular in town. Frank is attacked by thugs because he is German. Father Antoine takes in some correspondents. Isabelle and Louis discover Jacques dead in his cell. Terrified by the angry crowd because of the defeat, Klaus comes out. Frank tries to convince Alice that everything must be stopped. The young woman is convinced, on the contrary, that they must go all the way and reveal the truth about what happened forty years earlier. But to do that, they must finish the play. Pierre is once again the victim of a night vision.
