When evening falls, strange relationships develop between the characters. But when Jacques discovers what Oliver did with Laure, he lets the dog loose. While the others search for Oliver in the forest, Frank and Alice witness a scene from 1944: the moment when Gaston, eager to show that he is a resistance fighter, threatens to kill the Wehrmacht deserter.
