Oliver Nugent moves in with his college-aged grandson, Adam Shields, and his roomate Jonathan Burns. Adam also had a girlfriend, Jane. Oliver starts off taking care of their apartment and the boys, but soon the boys are counselling Oliver on life including his foray into going to college himself.
