This week New Zealand gymnast Mark Holyoake attempts the record for the most rotations on a pommel horse in one minute. The record is currently held by Andreu Vivo Tomas of Spain, who did 59 rotations in a minute in 2001. Mark will have to do one circle on the pommel horse per second to break this long-held Guinness World Record. 26 year-old Mark is well versed in the world of gymnastics. Representing New Zealand at the 2006 Commonwealth Games making the Parallel Bar final and coming in at 11th place overall. Mark also competed at the World Champs in 2005 with injury preventing him from competing at the 2008 Olympics. Later in the show Christchurch street performer Shay Horay attempts to bounce his way into the record books, as he attempts the record for the most balloons burst with a pogo stick. And we attempt the mouth-watering record for the most ice-creams stacked in a cone.
