Meanwhile, Medavoy and Kirkendall look into the death of a man who was shot and found in the bathtub of his former girlfriend. Also, Sylvia accompanies Sipowicz to the hospital for his latest CAT scan test which goes wrong and they decide to ignore Dr. Talbot's advice and go with the opinion of Dr. Mondzac.
