Reiko Doi works at a advertising agency in Tokyo, Japan. She is a 49-years-old divorcee without children. She got through her 20's and 30's by working hard and in those days working women could have children. Now, she is stuck at work between her seniors and subordinates. Her male coworkers are uncomfortable with her and her female coworkers are hostile to her. Under these difficult circumstances, Reiko Doi continues her work, fights against loneliness and finds love.

Doi (Honami Suzuki) and Hayama (Makiko Watanabe) called by Ohno (Momoko Kikuchi) to the usual bar.
Marriage activity Sato (Yoshimasa Kondo) comes to Ohno who says 'I want them to see it.'
Ohno confessed to Sato that she had been having an affair until recently because of her loneliness and that she had already liquidated her relationship, and she confessed that she wanted to go out with Mr. Sato. I did.
To Ohno, Sato begins to talk about her feelings that lie at the bottom of her heart.

Hayama also decided to divorce, and Ohno and Hayama settled on the problems they had.
Doi, who was urged by the two to decide, 'Doi also has to make a decision about Honjo,' consolidates one of her determinations.
