Sofka

In 1880, Vranje has been part of Serbia for two years, because the Turkish army was expelled from the city.
Boss Mladen also returned to Vranje. He inquires about the whereabouts of his brother, Ahmet, from whom he fled from Vranje in fear of blood revenge, because he failed to save the life of Ahmet's nephew, Jusuf.
Efendi Mita also returned to Vranje, who spent three years in prison because of the false accusation that he killed his good friend, Saroš. Efendi Mita has completely failed and sees the only solution for himself in marrying his daughter Sofka to a boy, Tomcha, the son of the boss Mladen, for the sake of money.
