Operation Midnight Hammer began just after midnight Saturday morning when a group of U.S. Air Force B-2 bombers took off from Whiteman Air Force Base. NBC News has learned that Iran sent a message to President Trump at the G7 summit that if he ordered strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, then Iran could activate sleeper cells in the U.S. to launch terror attacks, according to two U.S. officials. President Trump said the U.S. strikes ‘completely obliterated' Iran's nuclear program. NBC News' Peter Alexander reports. The Wayne Police Department says they responded to active shooter reports in the parking lot at CrossPointe Community Church earlier today. Officials say that staff members at the church shot and killed the suspect and that authorities are still actively investigating. NBC News' Adrienne Broaddus reports.
