The FBI is seeking a ‘person of interest' in the shooting death of prominent conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Investigators revealed they have recovered the weapon used in the crime. President Trump called Charlie Kirk a "giant of his generation" and said he has "an indication" of the shooter's motive. NBC News has learned there are a growing number of threats against high-profile political figures. NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez reports. NBC News' Morgan Chesky reports. Officials say 16-year-old Desmond Holly was radicalized by an extremist network and died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound after opening fire on students at Evergreen High School in Colorado. Two students remain in critical condition. Authorities say the shooter may have been radicalized by some extremist network. NBC News' Dana Griffin reports. Bloomberg News obtained 18,000 of Jeffrey Epstein's personal emails, which reveal a closer relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell than either publicly acknowledged. According to the emails, Epstein and Maxwell even planned to undergo a fertility treatment together. NBC News' Hallie Jackson reports. Ryan Routh is representing himself in his criminal trial for allegedly plotting to assassinate President Trump at his Florida golf club. During the first day of testimony, the former Secret Service agent who spotted and confronted Routh shared his account of that day, revealing Routh was only one hole away from where Mr. Trump was golfing. NBC News' Jesse Kirsch reports. On the 24th anniversary of September 11th, memorial services were held in New York, D.C. and Pennsylvania to honor the lives lost. In New York, three children of different firefighters who responded on 9/11 decided to become firefighters after losing their fathers that day. NBC News' Sam Brock has the story.
