According to an arrest affidavit, maintenance worker Sterling Williams admitted to turning off water in a jail cell, which enabled ten inmates to escape through the wall. Williams told investigators one of the fugitives had threatened to "shank" him if he did not comply. NBC News' Ryan Chandler reports four of the inmates have been recaptured, and there is an urgent search underway for the other six. In hard hit Kentucky, there are mandatory evacuations as new storm threats bear down on the region. As many as nine states face the possibility of tornadoes. NBC News' Kathy Park reports from the storm zone. An innovative program in Bentonville, Arkansas is building housing specifically designed for public school employees who can't afford to buy homes in the very community where they work. NBC News' George Solis reports. Regina Ventura, the mother of Sean Combs' former girlfriend Cassie Ventura, testified she took pictures of bruises on her daughter's body. NBC News' Chloe Melas reports the jury also heard from Combs' former assistant and an escort who said he participated in so-called "freak offs." New Jersey Rep. LaMonica McIver was charged with assault after a scuffle with ICE agents outside a detention center. DOJ prosecutors say McIver hit agents trying to make an arrest.
