Soo-hyun decides to produce Jin-woo as a way to make money for the factory she's buying.

Contract

Happiness
Jin-woo realizes that he dropped Soo-hyun's name card when he got into a car accident. Even after finding out that Jin-woo hurts himself whenever he's anxious, Soo-hyun continues to train him. On the day of the audition, Soo-hyun and Jun-seok change their plan and make Jin-woo sing in a low pitch.

Family
Jin-woo's mother comes to the audition for "Star Rise" to see him. Soo-hyun meets Chris to warn him to leave Jin-woo alone. A tabloid threatens Soo-hyun that they'll reveal the video of her abusing her power against RAID. Soo-hyun acquires the original file and is shocked when she discovers who filmed it.

The Beginning
The reason for Yoon-hee's tragic death is revealed. Hyun-chul is more determined to bring Soo-hyun down after hearing that Jin-woo has passed the audition. Hence, he meets the producer of the show and forces him to eliminate Jin-woo. Meanwhile, Shim Jin-woo gets into trouble, so Yoo Jin-woo leaves the dorm to help him, putting him at risk of getting eliminated from "Star Rise".

Trust
After placing first on "Star Rise", Jin-woo gets all the spotlight. Ha-na makes a mistake in the next performance, but the producer deliberately edits it out. Jin-woo receives a message from Chris that he should give up on the live performance and that Soo-hyun could be hurt if he doesn't. After Soo-hyun finds out Jin-woo is being blackmailed, she goes to see him, but Jin-woo refuses to see her.

Resolution
Jin-woo manages to sing on the stage, but he gets eliminated for singing a song that wasn't agreed upon. Even after getting eliminated, Jin-woo's singing becomes the talk of the town, so TA Entertainment contacts Soo-hyun to buy him. Feeling betrayed by Soo-hyun's decision, Jin-woo makes a shocking proposal.

Accident
Ha-na becomes the finalist on "Star Rise". Jin-woo joins TA Entertainment's debut team and starts practising as their trainee. Surprisingly, Kim Yi-jun also joins the debut team. Jin-woo finds out that Yi-jun lied about Chris telling him to withdraw from the live show. Meanwhile, news about Pandora Entertainment bribing the producer of "Star Rise" breaks out, and people speculate that Jin-woo and Ha-na benefitted from it.

The Best Kid
Soo-hyun gets admitted to the hospital after a car accident. Worried about Jin-woo, she leaves in the middle of the night to see him. Jin-woo decides to leave TA Entertainment after promising to pay back for the damage he caused. He's even forced to have a press conference where he has to tell a lie and take responsibility for everything. Right then, Soo-hyun shows up.

Goodbye
Soo-hyun and Jun-seok will stop at nothing to bring Yoo Jin-woo into their care, but it requires something they never thought they'd do. Meanwhile, Hyun-chul finds himself under investigation for drug-related activities, along with Muse, forcing him into a high-stakes, all-or-nothing scenario. Chris pays an unexpected visit to Jin-woo, but something doesn't feel quite right.

A Long Trip
Jin-woo returns but struggles to find his voice to sing because of the horrible things people have said, but Soo-hyun gets him back on track and releases a song. Meanwhile, Jun-seok receives an offer for the CEO position of Pandora, and Soo-hyun plans to let Jin-woo go as he gets ready for a live performance.
