Jin Sook calls for a family meeting and declares to her kids that she wants to graduate from her marriage. Even with mixed responses from her kids, Jin Sook is determined to get her way.

Later on, Sang Shik goes to the hospital for surgery.

Jin Sook comforts Sang Shik who is worried about losing his memory again before he goes for surgery. Eun Joo and Eun Hee can’t face telling their parents about Ji Woo’s rash decision. As Jin Sook feels the absence of Sang Shik and Ji Woo in the house, she discovers Ji Woo’s letter to Eun Hee.

Jin Sook feels angry at her kids for hurting her and decides that she wants to spend some time alone travelling. While she is away, the rest of the family learn how big a void Jin Sook’s absence leaves, but everyone still learns to take care of themselves. After some valuable time apart, the family reunites.
