Ava is a 15-year-old half-Muslim/half-Jew. Her parents decided she could either have a big Bat Mitzvah or sweet sixteen. She chose a sweet sixteen.
Ava decides the theme of her party will be Arabian. Her and her party planner choose the idea of having four good-looking guys bring her into the room upon a platform. 8 men from the local college line up and Ava makes her choices.
For the perfect dress Ava travels to Paris. She finds what she thinks is the right one, but her Mom says it's ""too much for a sixteen-year-old."" As she tries on other dresses she feels everyone is trying to force their opinion on her too much. Finally, Eva somehow coaxes her Mom into getting her the dress.
In the end Eva says the party was ""one of the best days of my life"" and she ""wouldn't change it for the world.""
