I Avoided My Doom Flags, So I Got Carried Away at the Cultural Festival…
Catarina Claes, the daughter of a duke, successfully avoided all of her doom flags and is now enjoying her school life. One day, she learns that the school festival is coming up, and she's psyched to experience it. Geordo and the other student council members are swamped with festival preparations, so Catarina is left on her own to wonder what kinds of foods she'll find at the event.

I Turned Into a Villainess…
One of the actors in the play being put on by the student council is injured, and the search is on for an emergency stand-in. As the opening of the curtain draws nearer and nearer, Catarina ends up agreeing to fill the role at Sophia's request. She's given a script with a story that sounds very familiar, and then her time comes to take the stage.

I Was Captured…
Catarina is kidnapped by someone while on her way to the ball, but after awakening in an unfamiliar room, she struggles to fully grasp her situation and doesn't seem to realize she's been kidnapped. Even when the kidnapper shows up to see her in person and she asks why she was kidnapped, her questions are easily dodged. Meanwhile, Geordo receives a letter from the kidnapper and immediately begins an investigation to find and rescue Catarina.

I Had a Friendly Tea Time With an Attractive Butler…
The one behind the kidnapping of Catarina Claes turns out to be someone that nobody expected. Catarina is shocked to learn the true reason why he kidnapped her, but he's so moved by her cheerful demeanor that he begins to tell her more and more about himself. As he does, Catarina proposes an idea...

Love for the Younger Brothers Poured Forth…
The day after the resolution of Catarina Claes's kidnapping, the first prince, Jeffrey Stuart, passionately speaks of his love for his younger brothers to his fiancée, Susanna Randall. At the same time, Geordo and Alan are in the student council office, reminiscing about their childhood days with their older brothers.

I Had a Summer Adventure…
Catarina is overwhelmed by Geordo's suddenly passionate advances. Since she had no romantic experience in her previous life, either, she has no idea what to do. When she receives an invitation to stay at the royal palace villa, she's still unable to sort out her feelings, and upon arriving there, she learns that the nearby forest is rumored to be haunted by a ghost.

My Wish Was Granted…
Raphael Wolt, an employee at the Department of Magic, welcomes Catarina and her friends for a tour of the facility. Lana leads them in an experiment on a magic tool she recently acquired from an antiquarian: a so-called "wish-granting doll house." The moment she sees the old, run-down doll house, Catarina can't help opening the tightly shut front door...

I Had an Arranged Marriage Meeting…
Nicol makes the decision to go through with an arranged marriage. Although he meets many prospective partners, all he can think about while talking to them is Catarina, so none of them get past the first meeting. Then, one day, his sister Sophia recommends that he read some romance novels for a change of pace.

Keith Disappeared… Part 1
Catarina is feeling thrown off by her sudden awareness of Geordo, so when she's back at home during a break from school, she spends her time working her fields for a change of pace. When she's done, she heads to Keith's room to show him the vegetables she's grown... but Keith isn't there, and instead she finds a letter in his room saying that he's running away.

Keith Disappeared… Part 2
Catarina and a few of her friends set out on a journey to find Keith, assisted by Larna. Catarina still believes Keith left because of her. She tries her hardest to find some sort of clue in the first town they stop in, but there's no useful information to be found. In the midst of all this, the captured Keith worries about the sister he left behind.

Keith Disappeared… Part 3
Upon learning that Keith was kidnapped, Catarina heads to the mansion that Alexander indicated to save him. The group enters the mansion even as Maria detects powerful dark magic there. After slipping past the many guards, they arrive at a hidden room, where they find Keith lying on the floor with his hands and feet bound.

My Graduation Ceremony Happened…
Catarina Claes is finally graduating from the Magic Academy. Catarina reflects on the past two years as she talks with all of her precious friends and attends a graduation party at the castle. There, they all speak of their feelings for her, starting with Geordo.

The Ministry of Time
The Ministry of Time, a newly established government department, is gathering ‘expats' from across history in an experiment to test the viability of time-travel. Commander Graham Gore (an officer on Sir John Franklin's doomed 1845 Arctic expedition) is one such figure rescued from certain death – alongside an army captain from the fields of the Somme, a plague victim from the 1600s, a widow from revolutionary France, and a soldier from the seventeenth century.
The expats are placed with 21st century liaisons, known as 'bridges', in unlikely flatshares. Gore has to learn about contemporary life from scratch: from air travel to industrial warfare, from feminism to Spotify, from cinema to indoor plumbing; and he must negotiate cohabiting with the ambitious modern woman who works as his bridge. After an awkward beginning, the pair start to find pleasure and comfort in each other's company, developing a relationship that is simultaneously tender, intense and profoundly unprofessional; and the expats, adrift in a new era, form friendships that ground and support them in the lonely 21st century, where they have outlived everyone they ever knew and loved.
When a deeper conspiracy at the Ministry begins to reveal itself, the bridge must reckon with what she does next. Will she save or sacrifice the exiled misfits she has come to care for so deeply?
