Carrie's Story
Teenager Carrie comes home from a party one night to discover her mother, a prostitute named Sally, murdered. Although she sees a blood-stained man at the scene, the crime goes unsolved. Fifteen years later, an adult Carrie-now calling herself Carol-is on the verge of getting married when she visits the original detective on the case to help her put the trauma behind her.

DI Hain opens up to Carol about his complicated history with the case and reveals that he came across information that cast suspicion on a fellow police officer.

Carol goes undercover at the massage parlor where her mother worked and discovers evidence of a child-pornography operation. As she tries to identify the ringleaders, she hopes to solve the mystery of her mother"s murder at last.
